Corn is gone out of the field now. All that remains is a stalks and some spilt corn here and there. I did manage to sneak back to the plot to set my camera back up. Noticed most of my clover was burnt up and all that was left growing is weeds. So sat dad took a few min to bush hog my plot while he was already working in the field. Hate to see my hard work thrown down the drain like that but at the same time I know it paid off too. Tomm if it doesn't rain tonight I'll go back and start over. But here is one pic to show ya what has been hanging out in my weed plot.

May be "weeds" to you, but to the deer, great nutrition. :)
Seriously, some of those weeds may have comparable protein levels to clover.

Another thought:

The clover "dried out". It's gone.
Ain't it great to have some nutritious weeds?
Had you not "prepared" that plot, you might not have had such a lush weed bed.
The trick is to have weeds, not grass, and especially not johnson grass.
