Avery Outdoors?

The 2 owners split. Everything has been resolved. 1 owner is out and basically got nothing to show for it. This is coming from a very good source.

I guess Avery is continuing as a company then?

fairchaser...Did you ever get in on any of Ames' turkey hunting? The first year I was in I saw turkeys everywhere and figured it would be a give me. Not to be. The second year I didn't see near as many birds and again not to be. After that they took our turkey rights away and I haven't seen total over the last 7 years half the birds I saw my first year.

My name is on the list. I got to hunt a couple times this season as a guest. I must say its a learning experience. Once again Ames does not give up its gold without a fight. I think they had a pretty good season overall though but you have to know where the birds are in the spring.
