I shot several different shells just trying to get a decent 25 yard pattern in my 410. Shells were all Remington except 1 box of Winchester AA 7.5 that I dove hunt with. Nothing all that great so, my nephew got 2 shells out of his stash. That was a Federal 3" #4 and a Winchester 3" #7.5 and both of those did better than the 5 boxes that I had. Notice how streaked the bottom right target is. That was 25 yards Here's the one I settled on, the Winchester 3" #7.5 at 25 yards Have since got some B&P 3/4 ounce nickel plated #6 and they shot almost identical to the picture above at 25 yards. I was shooting paper that day and didn't take any pictures. My daughter was shooting her gun yesterday so I grabbed the 410 (AKA Mighty Mouse) and shot a 30 yard target with the B&P 6's. I think 25 is my max
