[QUOTE="matt_brown, post: 4188163, member: 8691"] After a few misses and a dry spell of not calling in anything I finally connected again. Set up in a huge thicket (my honey hole)at daylight and turned on the cagie cottontail within a 5 mins had a single run in less than 20 yds. Shot him twice with the shotgun and thought he got away. After about 75 yds of tracking we found him. We moved about 100 yds deeper into the cedar thicket and called again. Within 10 mins we had a pair come in. When they got to the call they busted it and turned to run. One of them ran towards me and I shot him twice. I thought I had missed it till we found blood. After 100yd track job we found it too. We went to another farm and called a single in and missed it. On the way to another farm we seen 3 standing right beside the road at 11am. it's been a pretty good day.
