We left tenn headed for sardis last friday morning. We pulled cranks but the fish we were seeing were deep,it was hard getting the crankbaits down that deep.I didnt bring my weights to get them deep, but we caught fish with 150-200ft of line out with a mixture of bandit and pico crankbaits. We ended the day with 17 keepers and headed to our cabin at the state park at enid.Friday night we drove to grenada and ate at magnolia,we had the sampler, pulled pork, ribs, briskit and chicken with 2 sides. The food was good and when we got done there we headed to spencers for ice cream🤣Saturday we got up and headed for grenada to fish, fish were shallower and only needed 60-85ft of line out on our craks.Saturday was a much nicer also with lighter winds and we ended the day with 19 keepers. After fishing we headed out for the crankfest get together/meal at the enid state park.Talked fishing with old friends and met some new ones also but only ate jere's homemade cobbler because we had friends to meet at the enid depot at 7:30.The enid depot's food and atmosphere was awsome, they even had live music.I ordered the king primerib blackened and it was the best primerib i have ever ate, will definatly be back.Sunday we got up and packed our stuff and headed for arkabutla, but didnt fish long.We had 10-12 keepers at arkubutla, didnt keep a good count sunday and we didnt keep any all weekend,we threw them all back.3 lakes in 3 days and home sunday evening around 3:30 with some new stories to tell🤣.Lost a pole in the lake,broke4 rod tips and almost fell in the lake because someone didnt tighten the double seat setup we were using on the back deck🤣great memories and weekend.
