Before my Dad passed away we went through out pistol collection and all the serial numbers were added to my permit so when he did pass all the collection would have no issues…I never really noticed one pistol that sat in the back of the safe and I never shot it…I think it was my grandfather's and just passed down…but I am interested in seeing if anyone has information on what it is…it is a High Standard Manufacturing Derringer .22mag serial D11613..Any information is appreciated..

Thanks in advance

They used to be fairly well known at one point. I worked on at least one that had some reliability issues but were not that bad. I do recall some being issued to highway patrol of some state must of been for a backup or a boot pistol whatever.
