Hey OP, I enjoy estimating B&C (Boone and Crockett) scores for white tail;

I like to practice so when I am in the field I can estimate on the fly.
It is fun to see what folks are shooting and engage.
All my scores are based on photos you posted to here, thus it may not be accurate. Normal B&C scores are done with a 1/4-inch wide flexible steel tape to the nearest one-eighth of an inch. I do not go to the 1/8 inch. I do whole inches and go off photos and use things in the photos for approximate references!
Also, I do gross score and don't do the whole subtract for atypical stuff.
Of note, circumference (mass) is tough to gauge off of photos
Based on the pics in the link , my estimate B&C for that gentleman's deer is: 188 points. Of note, coleman cooler lid in the photo is 25.25 long per amazon (it's the Coleman 48 Quart Cooler). The inside main beam is at least this, i estimated 28. Also, the G3s are INSANE, I estimate around 15 inches EACH. Plus big mass, i think between G3 and G4 you may have 6 inches of mass there, per SIDE. My estimate is actually BIGGER than the articles of 175. But yes, its all of 175. Also, they "scored the buck at 175 inches (rough green score)" . I am not familiar with the green score. I assume that means before it dries out a bit. But ye this is a BIG BOI. man, fantastic TROPHY BUCK MAN
