05 honda 250 recon ES

I have a 2005 honda recon electric shift, it runs great but it does not pull in 5th gear I have no idea what the problem is but 1-4 it pulls great but when shifting into 5th its like it goes into neutral and it's been like that for a couple years. The reason for selling is the kids no longer ride it and it just sits. It's in pretty good shape overall and the plastic has faded a little but I just cleaned the carb and put a new battery in it and it's ready for someone else to enjoy.
