The wife is selling her 1999 jeep wrangler with 4.0 engine 5 speed transmission with 127k Miles, this jeep is in great condition, it does have some clear coat peeling on the door but no rust, runs and drives good, interior is in great shape. She has owned this jeep for 6 years and has never been offroad and the guy we got it from said he never had it offroad and it looks that way as it's in better condition than most this age. She is asking $11k obo. We will not be offended by any offers we get all we can say is no or yes depending on the mood that day and the only reason she is wanting to sell is because she is wanting the same jeep in a automatic transmission. I'm posting it up here for a while before it goes on marketplace because I've had alot better transactions from people on here. Thanks for looking and pm me if you have any questions and please be patient because it maybe a full day before I ever check them.20240317_191053.jpg20240317_191105.jpg20240317_191122.jpg20240317_191233.jpg20240317_191512.jpg20240317_191542.jpg20240317_191339.jpg

Seriously look into just swapping the manual out for an automatic. The tunnel is already prepped for an automatic and either way the gears select is in the floorboard.
Wiring harness is what I'm concerned about, I'm not sure on these jeeps but on a chevy truck it's a different harness between manual and automatic. Do you know if the jeep harness is the same?

Don't hold me to it but I have worked on many jeeps and if I'm NOT mistaken which I may be. I believe the body harness is the same and that if you're switching from a manual to an automatic then the connectors you need are already in place on the harness but just folded over on the harness and taped. If I recall maybe half down he harness on the passenger side. If I recall it's fairly straight forward swap. About the biggest issue which really isn't an issue is sending the computer to be reflashed to work an automatic transmission. I'm going to shoot you a pm.

She's already looking but we've never been In a LJ so thanks for the heads up on that.
Seriously if you get towards Chattanooga or Soddy Daisy anytime soon just holler at me. Yall can drive my 06 rubicon LJ around to see how yall like it and the extra space in the back. Its a 6 speed on 33" but you'll actually be able to see the difference in the tj vs lj

Thats as nice of a gesture as it gets and that is why this is the only place i try to deal with selling things, I've not had any bad dealings or strange people as of yet, what i'm saying is this is a great place.
