This is a record for my gate camera. The only thing they could be eating here is white oak acorns. A couple months ago I'd get pics of them eating cherries. There is nothing here but acorns. Anybody else seen em eat acorns?

Yes sir.
Catman posted a video the other day, it showed a raccoon eating acorns off the limb.

I've seen em walking through the woods several times but, not eating anything. I assumed they were coming from or going to a persimmon tree. I guess it makes sense like Mick Thompson said the list is shorter on what they won't eat.

Yep, they eat them.

Guess a lot of animals like them, my dog was picking up acorns out of the pea gravel this morning. Didn't think he was hungry, he hadn't eaten his dog food.

They love them. Back when I coon hunted you could always tell when acorns were falling because they would leave the corn fields.
