Went to Bayou Cumbest on the MS/AL border. Never fished there before, but water was pretty clean on satellite imagery yesterday, and my usual spot on the west side is chocolate milk...great water color, great salinity, pretty place to fish. Hit 10 or 12 spots I had picked out looking for trout and reds. Caught exactly zero of each. Extreme low tide early this morn, so had to be careful in unknown waters, but hard rising from 10a on. Found 3 flounder on flats close to deeper water, missed 2 more.

Saw a TON of mullet in the bayous, but no reds around. Pretty place, good to have in the back pocket for when water is trash at my no 1 destination.

And baked flounder is pretty dang awesome!

What satellite imagery are you using that is that current? I would love to see local lake conditions without having to drive there to find chocolate milk.

Google NASA worldview. You need a decent sized body of water to be able to tell clarity on satellite imagery. But very easy when looking at the MS coast (80 miles across)
