Savage Gear Suicide Duck

My nephew found this lure at a storage unit sale. No writing on it whatsoever, but my Facebook Friends quickly told me it is a "Savage Gear Suicide Duck," similar to a Whopper Plopper. I don't bass fish much (with lures anyway), but I really have an urge to try and catch one on this lure. :)

Im dumb and just read the title and thought it was some new duck decoy I was gonna just have to have and have to play 20 questions with my wife on why it's better than the others I have!!!🥴🥴

Muskies love them.... :) When the ducklings are hatching these do very well.

I suspect big grinnel & (shallow-water) catfish would also go for them.
I would think so with the catfish though I have not caught one on it... We do not have any Bowfine - grinnel that I know of here in Melton Hill but as aggressive as they are said to be, I bet you are right.
