tight wad choke isnt keeping it that tight , well not good enough... Anyone shot LB xr out of 1187 and what are your results ??

Had good results shooting a comp-n-choke out of my 1187, with 26" barrel, and LB XR #6s. Similar to what Tennessee Lead posted, but a tad bit more open.

Dont have pics, but I shoot an 1187 sportsman super mag, 26" barrel, with a tightwad. I shot some longbeard 3.5" 6s and they patterned extremely well. 45 yard to 50 yard shot is extremely doable. I wouldn't shoot no further than fifty with lead though.

Winchester Extended Range, their HTLs, pattern the best out of my set up, followed by longbeards, mag blends, then hevi 6, then federal mag shok lead no. 5s.
That's about all I've ever used with it.
