Gobbler groups??? I’m in east Tn and I’d love to see a gobbler and would jump for joy to see a group!!! Congrats your season is already a success.

As someone who is an absolute expert on absolutely nothing (🙋🏻) and who hates being wrong, I hope that I’m wrong on this one. He just looks like he is on a slow decline to me. I’d have a hard time killing him if he survived though. I mean the ole guy has been through enough. What y’all think?

Over 3 miles today on the upper east end.. zero.. although I did find my lost glove so that was worth it! Got in some good scouting too. I will say it’s extremely hard to find sheds in the eastern hills.

Hahaha.. sorry but I had to laugh at “tax break”. I’d say it would be easier to get permission to rifle hunt on the front lawn of the state capital than get a tax break. Unless of course you can pad the pockets of politicians.

Yes… I’ve often said that most real turkeys could never win a calling contest at the NWTF. A few yelps and a bunch of patience has put many many birds in front of my gun.

I have the one he gave me but thanks so much for the offer. I find one that’s easy and stick with it till it’s wore out. I’m not a great caller so I use the “very” patient approach. Less calling and just trying to stay in the game till it happens.
