First neck roast I had the cook was feeding about 10-15 guys and my wife. He had several in a good size cast iron kettle over a oak fire. He took the lid off, grabbed the bone with thongs and gave it a quick twist. Meat just fell off the bone.
That was a good meal.
Reason I ask is I have turned in 2 for testing and 1 buck. I have yet to receive an email and have had to search for the test results. I had the understanding that I would be emailed the results. Just wondering what others are doing to get their results.

If I'm lucky enough to get in the woods before sunrise I try to get in 30-45 minutes before. My last 3 birds were shot well into the day. Knowing travel routes and strutting areas helps.
