Lots of action soon as daylight came. Several small bucks and few does. Noticed this buck hounding a doe around 700ish… was moving fairly quick after her so I threw out a few grunts followed up with some doe bleats.. not saying that I got his attention but regardless around 730 he had circled...

Been watching this buck since a week or two before opening. Not the biggest horned buck I’ve got running around but maybe one of the oldest I’ve ever shot. Taxidermist buddy aged him at 5n half minimum possibly 6n half said he was definitely on the decline..Opening weekend had him within 40-50...

Nice congrats to her on her first buck! I had a decent 8 dogging a doe wide open hard all around me this morning for bout a hour and half.. big ones will be back at it soon looking for those later does just comin in any day now down in my area
