Definitely a river otter. They’re all over the rivers and lakes in East Tennessee. Thank you TWRA! They have been seen eating Walleye on the bank of Norris Lake and I’ve seen them in French Broad and Holston Rivers.
Yes ground meat with cure and pressed into a pan, then put on grill and smoked about 3 hours due to cold yesterday. This is recipe I followed. It was very easy to slice with electric slicer. Pretty simple and will try it again when I eat and give all this batch away!
This was very easy to make and smoke. Not too salty and has a nice smoky flavor. Fried it up in a little bacon grease this morning. Won’t be my last batch! Made about 6 pounds or so.
Last year at this time I would have jumped on that! I was fortunate enough to be able to get a new boat in August with a Minn Kota Power drive on it. That is a great deal though!
I had an '84 model Bass Tracker that some of the keel rivets lost their hold. Had to completely take the floor and live well out to replace them. If my brother and I hadn't done it it would not have been feasible to pay someone to do it. Check that out if it's not welded hull.
Check with some area carpet installers. Some of them can do the job if they are experienced. My son did mine back in the day when he was still installing carpet. Under my supervision of course…..it looked great.
