I have a pond on my place that is overstocked with bass. You can stand in one spot with a beetle spin and catch 10" largemouth on every single cast. The fish are very skinny and we never catch one any bigger than 10". I want to start thinning them out. Would the statewide creel limit apply to this situation?

I am NOT TWRA but unless I am remembering wrong, yes it would apply.
I think you are correct. It will take a long time to thin them out at that pace. And I hate keeping the little fellas. Not enough meat for the trouble.

Pond limits are the same as statewide limits. You may want to call your regional fisheries biologists to see if they have any advice on what you might be able to do with your issue.
