Let this buck walk 2 years prior to killing him, didn't realize he was still alive. I missed him the day before chasing a doe. I came back and saw him at 8am and he got away again. I decided I wasn't going to quit hunting till I killed him. I watched a doe stand in the same spot as the day before. For over 2 hours she wouldn't leave, at 12 o'clock I seen him coming through the thicket headed towards her the rest is history as persistence paid off.
