Wild coyote from a couple years back

This is one of the wildest color variations I've ever seen on a coyote. Ran across it the other day and figured I'd share it on here.
 
How can you tell?
There are others here than im sure have more knowledge than me. It is biologically possible, but very unlikely. Coyotes have a breeding season while domestic dogs have a cycle, and while these two can overlap, the social behavioral differences would make it an extremely rare thing in the wild. However a domestically raised coyote can and would be much more likely to successfully breed with a domestic dog.
