Couldn't of ask for a better opening morning of Squirrel season, me and a buddy both killed a limit seen several more, they are really cutting the Hickorys pretty hard here in the western end of KY.

Great job!! I have got to get out. And check the hickory nuts here. We have tons of big white oak acorns. Also the seed ticks are very bad here.

Older 452 CZ, Leupold VX2 3-9x33 Rimfire EFR, Ammo is Eley 38gr Hollow Point. I have owned this rifle for a lot of years, it has killed a lot of squirrels over the years, every year I take it out check the zero at 50yds it is always same spot, most consistent sporter 22 I ever owned and I have owned a bunch. I been wanting to try the newer CZ 457 just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Nice rig and nice mess of squirrels. I see a CZ 22lr in my future. I've been shooting the Eley subsonic hp for a few years. Shoot great in my rifle and kills squirrels like lightning.

Walked in the woods this weekend in SW TN and saw signs of squirrels on the hickories here. Opening day is this Saturday for TN.

It was slow for us. The place a buddy and I always hunt we found no hickories. We seen 2 squirrels on about that 10 acre section. Moved around and finally found some hickories that produced 5 squirrels. Overall between 6 of us we came out with 25.
