I found my first trash pit 2 years ago. I really enjoyed the anticipation of digging and going through the hole. I dug approximately 2.5 feet and pulled out broken china, bullets, a few flower buttons, knife blades, bones and glass. This is the only one I have been able to find. Do any of you have experience in finding these? I really want to try to find more of these just for the sake of what I was pulling out. If the land owner gives me permission, I am going to expand that hole and really go over it with a fine tooth comb. I really expected to find some other places in this same area, but have not located any.
