I will admit, I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to certain niche hobbies...Civil War relics and history, native American relics and history, WW2, weather, and so on that most people find boring. But even I am amazed to just now learn there are maps and resources for tracking bugs

I know we came back on I75 Saturday and between Cleveland and Riceville there were a few spots of them that you could hear them over the interstate traffic...while doing 70 with the AC and radio on.

Lol, the first time I fished one of these was 26 years ago. Since then myself and a few friends have traveled to fish 11 different emergences across 4 states.

It's a weird obsession niche, and I've learned tons about the bugs locations etc. Now that we are repeating different broods we fish the same waters and same locations as we did before.

I've been fishing a TWRA lake and can confirm it's going strong Maury County.

Count me in the lazy & stupid group . Just looked at map for NW Bama and doesn't look like I'm gonna get to use my new snazzy cicada lure I bought the other day...

bedford and marshall they are out in full force. my back was covered with them when i was weedeating the other day
