This will be my last post concerning score as this shouldn't take away from the deer, and score really doesn't matter. However as said before, I have measured a bunch of deer in the past including some that were officially scored after and very, very close to what I got. I appreciate the breakdown of how to score, but I promise that I know how to score a deer and how to do it right. Maybe the pics don't do the deer justice, but 90 to 100" was my guestimate by looking at it. I knew 100" was a stretch but knew he was in the ballpark.

We took the time to measure him this afternoon, and he was 94 1/8". Again this is my last post concerning score on this deer as I am not taking away from a kid's deer anymore.
Great score! Do you have the circumference measurements? Curious where I was off at measurement wise! Thanks

Don't have them in front of me and too lazy to go get the paper. :) Both C1s were 4 1/4, C2s were 3. I don't remember the C3 and C4. Both beams were a tad over 17" and was a little over 15" inside.

With all due respect, how does that get into the 90s? Im just trying to improve my estimation as well, something is off between or measurements (my estimates).

Your circumference measurements were exactly what my estimate was btw. I actually gave anninside beam of 17

So if i only got into the 60s , where is our disconnect? Thank you

Not sure, but the the deer scores 94 1/8". If you add just what I posted from memory, 17+17+15+4+4+3+3 = 63" without the points and the C3 and C4.

I said I wasn't going to post about score again but went and retrieved the paper.

Right Side:
Beam = 17 3/8"
G1 = 4 1/8"
G2 = 5 1/8"
C1 = 4 2/8"
C2 = 3"
C3 and C4 = 2 5/8" (Measured in same spot if no G3, halfway between G2 and end of beam)
Total = 39 1/8"

Left Side:
Beam = 17 3/8"
G1 = 4"
G2 = 5 5/8"
G3 = 1 4/8"
C1 = 4 2/8"
C2 = 3"
C3 = 2 6/8"
C4 = 1 2/8"
Total = 39 6/8"

Inside Spread = 15 2/8"

Total Gross = 39 1/8" + 39 6/8" + 15 2/8" = 94 1/8"

Also, pictures are just pictures and can be deceiving either way. My son is also 6'3", 200 lbs and I'm 6'1", 240 lbs for reference.

Thank you for this, I believe I forgot to add a measurement, extremely helpful, again thank you; I am so sorry to bother you!

Don't understand all this talk of scoring on all these threads. Lol it's getting a little silly. Anyway, that's a super nice buck. His smile says it all congratulations to y'all.
Agreed and I never should have engaged in the conversation about scoring. Either way, appreciate all the congrats. Will make a nice euro mount.

Not personally directed at you sir. I've been away from the site for a while over crazy things like this, just needed a break. Came back because deer season started and love seeing photos of people with their trophies whether fork-horns or booners. Once again congratulations to y'all.
