felt good to get out in the woods this morning. Had intentions of shooting first good size doe I saw. Hard a twig break an hour or so into sit. Looked up and almost directly down wind was a descent little buck. Grabbed my phone and took a couple pictures and a couple vidoes. Was replaying one of the videos and counted 10 pts although one g4 was broke almost all the way off.

After watching him get dead down wind and starting to act funny I decided i would take him. Broad side 50 yds. Tracked him down into Grand Canyon and was concerned cause he climbed a heck of a hill and blood stopped halfway up top. Not a good sign. Turns out he doubled back at that point and went down the canyon about 40 yds and died at the bottom. Was a heck of an extraction getting him out. Ropes, winches, sxs and two men about an hour to get him 100 yds up to flat ground. Nothing big but I got the monkey off my back early.

Private ground and no orange so let's get that out of the way 😂
