Rear sight?

I was wondering about epoxying a simple rear sight over the chamber of my Stevens 301? I could make it from cardboard first to get the point of impact right then make it from aluminum sheet and fix it in place. I was thinking kinda dual duty and see if benneke slugs would print close. I'd just use the bead for the front sight. Y'all ever seen a setup like that?

I don't know what made me think I could see a set of sights on a shotgun any better than I can on a rifle or pistol? 🥸 I made a cardboard test rear sight and taped it on the barrel, blurry as usual and still see 2 beads up front!!!😄. I guess I'm just gonna have to do what I can with what I've got.

I've been using a dead ringer beard buster for quite a few years now and it's the way to go for me anyway.

That's pretty good but my Stevens is a plain barrel. The Burris item, it costs more than the gun! 😄
