Anybody have any experience doing a DIY install with this? Thinking about replacing my carpet with it, if it's pretty pliable where it will wrap easily around my lids on my decks.

I self installed a pad between my console and leaning post on my bay boat. Was very simple and it came with step by step instructions from SeaDeck. I also put some on top of a yeti cooler that I would stand on as a casting platform.
You'll want it cut to your specs or perhaps you can cut it yourself.
Both of mine were cut to a specific size and I just laid it down so I'm no help beyond saying it's easy if the pieces fit right.
