Can you still ride the trails on prentice Cooper when there are no hunts going on? What are of the other places people ride within an hour or so of Chattanooga?

There used to be an ATV/dirtbike riding area at Ringold Ga. It is open April thru December.

Aetna has been closing for years. It is a rough place but some nice riding(dirt bike). We always drove thru the nice subdivision then park once it opens up and head up the mountain. Just dont leave anything out that you value.
I lived in Chattanooga area for years and I spent most of my off-road time in Windrock on the east side of 116. Lots of single track motorcycle trails if you know where to look.
Houston valley and Prentice Cooper are a big waste of time unless you are really new and just want to ride around in my opinion.
