New toy bfs rod and reel

Not real sure why, but decided I needed one. I usually just straight line scope for crappie. But the idea intrigued me. I ordered the Jenko double down rod and the Shimano curado bfs.

Great setup,double down was the rod i was wanting when i ordered my bfs gear.They were out everywhere so i went with majorcraft benkei bait finesse rods.Havent got to use them much but have been impressee so far.Im running braid on mine so far and use braid-aide line conditioner with good results.

New toys

Got a couple shimano slx bfs reels and 2 majorcraft benkei bait finesse rods.They say you can cast a 1/32oz 60ft with this setup,guess i will see.Not sure what line im gonna use just yet,but will probally have braid on one and probally some flouro on the other and see which i like better.

The thread you started about it was the first time I had ever heard of bfs. Been looking and reading about it since. Decided with Jenko because I like my X rods so much.
