$2 worth of seed and 15 bucks worth of container soil. we will see how many it makes. its just too wet here nowadays to have an early tater crop in ground.

yes plenty, and put a little gravel over them so they dont stop up.Did you drill drain holes in the bottom of that tote?
so when you start them do you fold down the sides and plant the potatoes and when they come up just keep unfolding the sides and add dirt? how many potatoes do you plant per bag or do you cut some in half?I use 20 gallon grow bags made from geo-textile fabric.
Will never go back

Want to try this
can you tell me what brand grow-bag you using. So many choices and the odds say I will choose wrong.
Many thanks
I got 2 seasons of 2 crops each out of them and left the dirt in them and out in the weather. My current bags are going into their 2nd season but I emptied them and put them up for the winter. I figure 3 or 4 seasons at least by doing thatdo those bags last a couple of seasons?
if you can find some potatoe seeds might be able to plant a fall crop. It's been too wet at my place to do too much. I'm just now breaking ground...I'd love to have some potatoes, but I think if I'm able to make Peas and Beans at this point I'll be lucky.
