Meopta Optika5 vs Leupold VX Freedom

Anyone know much about these two? I've heard a lot of good things from the Meopta Meopro but not sure about the Optika.

What about the VX Freedom? How does it compare to a VX3i?

I am looking for a scope to put on a new gun and both of these caught my eye. I'm looking to stay under $350. I'm looking for clarity and light transmission as much as anything. I'm open to suggestions as well.

Can't speak on the Meopta but I've got a few vx3i and very pleased

Depends on if the extra weight is a deal breaker. The Optika5 2x10x42 for example is about 8oz heavier than a VX3i 3.5x10x40. The Loopie has better eye relief but that might not be a big deal. Both are ok......If low light is the deciding factor.....You will probably like the Optika a little better.

Decided that weight was a big factor and stayed with the VX3I.
