I had previously posted this while I still had the rifle in the stock. I have now removed it and am going to drop the price on this to get it moved so I can change stocks. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the stock. Southern precision rifles milled a small spot for the side bolt release on a surgeon action and also milled a small spot where the bolt handle goes down for clearance. The red tape seen in the picture is only there to keep the action screws in place. I have 2 5rd 308 accurate mags to go with it and the additional pistol grip to change the angle if you want to. It is a short action chassis and will accept all rem 700 short actions and clones. I am going to cross post in other places as well. Asking $550 ftf which is WAY under retail.

I will take some more pics when I get home this afternoon. The red marking is just tape holding in the action screws, no alterations were made in that area but I'll take pics of all of it.

Buddy I'm wondering if this Bergara B14R barreled action assembly would fit down in that now? Supposed to be from a model 700 footprint. Maybe @TNRifleman will chime in and know whether or not it would fit.

It will fit buddy. The bergara is a 700 footprint.
