Gun is in fantastic shape aside from the couple spots on the stock which I've enlarged. Someone suggested oiling this would help to "blend" the mark but I've yet to try that. According to Marlin experts these factory stocks are made of a wood that never really allowed the finish to penetrate so they skin up easily. These are not digs into the wood but rather a light superficial mark to the finish.
I have one exactly like yours and they are fun to shoot! Would like to have the 45 acp too if ya have one of those Moon
