Marestail - any suggestions

I've got a 1 acre food plot that is overrun with Marestail. Any suggestions for getting rid of it? I've read it can be a real problem.

Valor Herbicides has several different chemicals stating will work....looking myself for something that will work

From what I've read so far, need to spray in the fall

I'm going to bush hog it tomorrow, remove the mares tail then try the Valor.

I guess I'll wait a week, test the soil again, then going to plant it with turnips.

heavy dose of MSMA or Gramaxone will do the job, with the MSMA you will have to wet the entire plant, 2 quarts of Gramaxone per 10 gallons of water should do the job, heavy dose of dawn dishwash or crop oil with either will help
