Gun season here, but saw a group of three does, followed shortly by another. Fifteen minutes later two more showed from the same direction. Later a glimpse of a younger doe and buck. All of this was between 7AM and 8AM CST. It was cold and I came in at around ten. A relaxing and enjoyable morning.

Saw these and a whole bunch more. I killed 4 of them, but I couldn't find the 4th one. There were blood trails going everywhere, lots of excitement.

Two does, a bobcat and more squirrels than I could count. My buddy saw a few does and a young buck. His son saw a "decent" buck but didn't get a shot off.

7 does total. Big buck in the distance and a basket 8 that came in hard with nose to the ground to a group of 3 doe. He trotted off after them. Lots of roadkill this am on 840 west in Williamson.

I'm back out for an afternoon hunt now.

Me and a buddy went, didnt see a single deer. We left early though. But still, almost 3 hours of daylight, figured between the two of us we would have saw something. Heard 14 shots in that amount of time lol
