Lead Shot Bags…..Quilt?

I called upon my older skeet shooting buddies to supply me some harder-to-come-by lead shot bags in order to have this shot bag quilt made. Turned out to not quite qualify as a quilt but they are sewn together, front and back, to make more of a throw than a quilt. Either way, it's a pretty unique addition to my man cave.

I'd guess there are several bags in this work that haven't been made in 20+ years…and maybe y'all haven't seen.
As to cost of quilting, the lady I asked to do this (after I had the bags washed and cut open) had it in her possession for more than 2 years. When she got it back to me it wasn't laid out quite like I'd asked….but she didn't charge me a cent. I figured I couldn't complain.
