I been seein these critters everywhere. 4 babys in the road on the way to eagle creek wma the other day. one baby dead on a bridge on the way to work and one big red fox come prancing through the yard the other day.

If you want to know how many fox you have go look for tracks after a fresh snow. A lot of people assume there aren't many because they don't see them....but they are secretive. Especially if there are yotes around.

I see them all the time in NC because we are literally infested with them and they can't be trapped. However in Va I rarely see them, except when I'm checking tracks :D

Same here. I see'em all the time in NC where I hunt (central).
I'm a firm believer that CUTOVERS=FOXES. Especially greys. We don't even pay'em any attention, but more importantly, there seems to be deer around them most of the time. See a fox, and a deer won't be far behind. Coincidence maybe, but its happened a lot.
