First one in bout 6-7 years…..,
Had to give up archery and went to crossbow.
Happy to get this one.
Bled all internally, bolt buried in cavity.
Hands and knees thru ivy thicket for 200 yds.

Congrats. I lost one yesterday and still don't know what went wrong. My only assumption was the steep angle. I was about 25ft up, she was at 7 yards. I don't like em that close but she literally ran in and stopped so that was the first shot opportunity.

I hate losing one period, but it happens!!
Keep at it, next one may be a monster.
I was worried, no bolt at the spot, no blood for 40 yds

I've lost a few over the years and it's disheartening. But if she didn't make it, I'm sure the yotes will find her. I never found a bed so I think the wound wasn't fatal but who knows.
