WOW 2 great games for the VOLS and a series win. VOLS go for the sweep today at 2pm. Last nights game VOLS had 4 homeruns and Sewell was lights out coming in pitching in relief for the win. Still VOLS had some LL errors on defense. Offense coming around Pitching getting solid, hoping VOLS have turned a corner, still need to clean up the defense.

They have definitely had a mindset change and are improving. Might be hope for this season after all. If they can continue to clean up the little things, they can go far and hopefully get back to the World Series.

Agreed. But also another thing is in the 1st half of SEC schedule, the Missouri series was puzzling but in the others, they played the nation's #1, 2, 4 &5 ranked teams and 2 of those were on road. They had some silly errors that cost them a couple of those games. They went 5-7 in those games. The back half of the schedule should b3 more favorable and get more wins. Although last series at South Carolina will probably be tough.
It looks like they are finally starting to gel and get more confidence after having to replace all fielding positions. I think they could go 7-3 or 6-4 in remaining conference games and be sitting good for NCAA.

BASEVOLS got to clean up their road record, been very weak on the road. Big blow out today, great series sweep. But clean up the road games.

Hail State fired their pitching coach today. Supposedly he almost got the ax after their series with Vandy. I guess the run rule stuff sealed the deal this past weekend.
