Frustrating.
Set up 85y from a tom on the roost. Gobbled 5 or 6 times, hit the ground and hasn't made a peep since. Completely ignored all my calls.
Neighbors blowing owl calls, peacock calls, crow calls right on my line. I'm 300y from my line, hoping they don't hop the fence coming after the bird on me. Same neighbors who shot me several years ago.

Killed at 8:15 Sunday morning. He didn't gobble more than four times.
Be nice to rename this to just "hunting thread" and sticky it to the top. I'd be happy to add to it each day
