Picked me up a new little turkey gun. Not sure about the wood stocks with the camo yet but it's a new dip and brand new ff3 for the money I couldn't pass it up. Little youth 20
I've got a new tru glo 565 I've had in my gun box for prolly 10 years bought it on clearance somewhere. Ima try some apex thru it.Should be a shooter with #9 TSS
They will possibly outshoot s 3.5" with lead but with tss the 3.5 will still outshoot it. Possibly knock a few teeth out but will still outshoot. This 20 is for me to shoot I love a 20 with tss. But shooting same ammo not a chance it can outshoot 2.5oz of tssThose 20s with TSS will absolutely outshoot a 3.5 in 12!
They will outshoot hevi shot in a 3.5 12ga, I know that much for sure! They will possibly outshoot s 3.5" with lead but with tss the 3.5 will still outshoot it. Was in no way implying I would be undergunned with the 20. I love toting a lightweight 40-50 yard killer.I shoot TSS out of a 28g. Haven't missed/lost a bird yet...and I've taken several with it.
Used to use a 410 with TSS...killed plenty with it as well.
Actually, never even crossed my mind that that was what you were implying...Was in no way implying I would be undergunned with the 20. I love toting a lightweight 40-50 yard killer.
No way! Shooting 3-1/2 12's is a lot of fun!! And so is this!!Them 3.5" 12's hurt!!!
Not if shooting tss with bothThose 20s with TSS will absolutely outshoot a 3.5 in 12!
i killed one with my model 37 Winchester in 20. wish someone made turkey loads in 2 3/4 inch...thought about having a gunsmith measure my barrel and see if there was enough meat to cut the chamber to 3 inches.Congrats on the new toy. Love toting my 20.
If you mean TSS, here ya go...i killed one with my model 37 Winchester in 20. wish someone made turkey loads in 2 3/4 inch...thought about having a gunsmith measure my barrel and see if there was enough meat to cut the chamber to 3 inches.
But for what it's worth, I've killed several with an old break action 16g with just regular #6 shot. Just don't have the range that TSS has.thanks! all labeled "turkey loads" in 20 i've seen on shelves were all 3" stuff. i'm not looking hard enough, i think.
