I still say they should play the SEC championship for 1st and 2nd in the country and let everyone else play for third place
So then who do they leave out? Washington? This game showed 100% the committee got it wrong. GA should be in the final 4
Every team has the potential for opt outs or transfers.20 starters were out, not like every other team
You think Washington beats GA head to head?So then who do they leave out? Washington?
Highly doubtful, I agree Georgia is a top 4 team. IMO Washington is the weakest of the current top 4.You think Washington beats GA head to head?
I think Washington beats Texas.Highly doubtful, I agree Georgia is a top 4 team. IMO Washington is the weakest of the current top 4.
If I had to guess I'd say they will be in the championship game.Georgia should have been in top 4 ,like to see Alabama and Texas play again
History is filled with teams that won the Championship that weren't the best team. Whether it's 2 or 4 or 12 or 64 teams that make the playoffs, the best team doesn't always win. The committee doesn't have an easy job and I understand that, but even THEY know they cannot pick the best teams for the playoffs. Sports that have a multi-game series like the NBA and MLB have a far greater chance of THE best team winning the championship. It just doesn't work that way in football because of the nature of the sport. This is some Biden analogy…..
I'll be shocked if they do, Texas is the more complete team but we will see. That pac 12 defense has never impressed me.I think Washington beats Texas.
I think Michigan is the weakest team, and Alabama will prove that in spades. The only thing about Washington that is weak is their defense, but I think their defense is better than Michigans offense.Highly doubtful, I agree Georgia is a top 4 team. IMO Washington is the weakest of the current top 4.
FSU has starters out and loses ? Sounds familiar, Looks like the committee got it right then!20 starters were out, not like every other team
They would have all played if they were in playoffs I'm sureFSU has starters out and loses ? Sounds familiar, Looks like the committee got it right then!T
Outcome woulda been the sameThey would have all played if they were in playoffs I'm sure
Not necessarily with the way that the current selection is setup… I think that this season would have potentially had 4, but the guaranteed conference champions and G5 appointments make it to where it's not just the top 12 teamsSec should end up with 4 teams maybe 5 in the top 10.
After bowl games, depending on how lsu does, the sec could have 5 teams finish top 10. Bama, Georgia, mizzou, ole miss are already there. LSU sitting at 13 with several teams above them getting embarrassedNot necessarily with the way that the current selection is setup… I think that this season would have potentially had 4, but the guaranteed conference champions and G5 appointments make it to where it's not just the top 12 teams
I'm sorry, I misread your post to allude to the top 12 in reference to next year's 12 team playoff. You are likely correctAfter bowl games, depending on how lsu does, the sec could have 5 teams finish top 10. Bama, Georgia, mizzou, ole miss are already there.
