but Academy in Franklin had 5 ARs in stock at lunch today (noon) two I can't remember the brand, but they were $1,299. the other 3 were Bushmasters. 2 were $759 and one was $999 (optics ready). I got tied up in meetings so I wasn't able to post until now. BTW they got in like 12 last night and that was what was left, but they don't expect them to last the day.

As a side note to that, Walmart has/had a Remington 700 ADL in 270. Wood stock and sling mounts are installed. it does not have a scope but has Iron sights. it was normally $518 and they marked it down to $399.

If i didn't already have a 270 I probably would have bought it and let my wife get over it... Anyway i thought maybe one of you guys could use it.
