Good luck with your search. The 760 was only manufactured in 308 in 1957.
It was the first and only deer rifle my parents ever bought me. It has been retired for about 15yrs now.
My wife was the last person to kill a deer with it.

It used to be listed on the Remington website but it seems their site has changed and I can't find any info on rifles no longer in production. So, without any facts to back up my claim, i guess it highly likely I could wrong.
I wish you well with your search for one of these rifles.

Thanks roost. The reason I questioned you is because I've seen the 308 in several stock variations. And the blue book did not give specific dates like it did for other calibers. The search continues. Even if it's a little rough, still interested.

Thanks Larry, I've looked at those too. I try to avoid GB when possible. You have to tack on about 80 for transfer, shipping, etc. Plus I really like trading with the Tndeer guys.
