Hey brother. Just a thought...I have gotten to where I think I can do without a jointer. I built a sled on which I can place a rough sawn or just crooked board, run the whole thing through thickness planer which makes one side flat...the remove board from sled, turn it over and run it thru thickness planer to make second side parallel to first. Then, just :joint" it with your table saw. Lots of videos with different approaches to the same method on you tube.

That's what I have been doing and it works alright as long as you don't wiggle the board any at all as you feed it through. Its easier on shorter boards and would probably work better with longer boards if I build some infeed and outfeed tables for my table saw.
