People collect them just like anything else. I had a huge collection before I moved away and sold mine.
Gotcha. Didn't mean to pry just curious. I've got a few. I'll have to dig them out. I'll PM you pics when I find them.
bobbick hit the nail on the head. I enjoy them. Seeing those old boxes on the shelf and I'm taken back to the fall with my grandpa opening up a box of shells and the sounds of bird dog tails or beagle tails bouncing off the metal inside the dog box. Some of those old boxes take me back deeper in my memories than old guns or mounts.
That's amazing I really enjoy them old box's as well they where very neat in there own way
