My opinion.... April 15th will be a slaughter fest the likes we've never seen on an opening day in Tennessee.
Will they still be ready play when the season opens…..

Back when there were turkeys on my farm,I would hear gobbling birds plum up in June!!They are still interested in mating and will if there is still hens unbred!They dont gobble as much though!!
Its funny here. They are nonstop till mid may then hit or miss. Last yr, i heard a gobble on the 4th of july- midday

They been on fire up here in Ky for the Juvy hunt. Worked a pair into 60 yards but a small creek was too much for them to muster. Back and forth gobbling for an hour before they finally threw in the towel. Heard 12-15 birds on the roost…
I don't think they will, so I better come over there and sit through the misery of them not wanting to. You just sit at the house and relax and I'll go listen to the song birds sing out there.
