I suspect this is more of a policy along these lines:

Company-provided insurance for non-smokers @ $300/month
Company-provided insurance for smokers @ $600/month, plus submittal to monthly rectal exam and disqualification from annual performance bonuses.

You will have the freedom to smoke if you'd like. We will not mandate a non-smoker policy at our company.

You could get some " patches " your insurance company will freely give them to you. My wife teaches and uses them just a thought

Been in the hospital with my wife for 3 days. Entire property is smoke free. Have to walk about 3/4 of a mile to get off the property and smoke.

Actually saw a patient (gown open in back) coming in from the smoke hole this morning!

My insurance excludes those since they are available OTC. You can spend Flex money(HSA) on them, but it still hits your own wallet instead of theirs.

I hate the new policy. It is company wide- excluding stores. We used to have a butt hut to go to but the ban came and shot that.We have to leave the property but are not allowed to except at lunch time. I drive out, park on the road and load up on nicotine for my coworkers' sake.
I can't take it out on stik because he is at work when I get home.
The patches and gum do freaky stuff to me so I just suffer.
If they just understood that I can only take so much stupid on a good day, they would be more careful now. This isn't good. I have a lot of b in me that I keep beat back-----I may not be able to anymore.
God love 'em.
