Havent hunted much out of a blind for turkys. I realize it will be a little less mobile but will allow more movement and a less sore back side. What do you guys think about using a blind?

I think that would be a good idea considering the woods still look like Febuary.

Didn't you hear? Blinds are unethical! :D

I'll have mine with me but I'll probably be mobile listening for gobblers tomorrow. If I find a good place I'll probably throw it up.

Very good point about the lack of foilage. I judt wish i had set it up before tomorrow. I did a test run in the dark in my front yard. Took me 2:21 with a stop watch. Listened this am and had 5 hammering. Hoping if I get within a 100 yards that is not too close.

I enjoy my blind but the biggest draw back is mobility.

I set up in a field this morning and saw some jakes come to within 50 yards in the fog. Once the fog burned off around 8:30 and nothing was happening in the field, I wanted to move to the woods for the last hour. Problem is the pain of taking it down and setting back up.
