Local Food lion has whole butterball turkey frozen or fresh .99 per lb. This is in Tricities area. They also have other brands of whole frozen turkeys for .49 per lb if you spend 35bucks or more..I already have 5 in the freezer..but I may get a couple of the fresh and smoke them this week. I break them down and smoke breast thighs and wings, debone breast and vac seal all. Drumsticks, smoked carcass and other parts get used to make stock.
